Money to Start a Minority Business

Minorities now own nearly 15% of American businesses, and over 90% of them are small businesses. The ownership of businesses by minorities has more than doubled in the last two decades. Some of this growth can be credited to all levels of government who
have been encouraging the development the development and expansion of minority owned businesses. Lack of financial capital is one impediment to the success of small businesses, and in particular minority owned firms. There are many different resources and places you can turn for information, assistance, and loans. The Small Business Administration has helpful loans and loan guarantee programs, and services to help minority businesses. To learn more contact the SBA at www.sba.gov.
